We’ve got two great events on tap for you this week. Beer fans, it’s the time you’ve been waiting for, please join us from 5:30 – 7:30 Wednesday the 9th details below. David O’Neill, from Cobblestone Cellars, will be here to taste through a trio of wines Thursday from 4-7. Please take a look at the Calendar section for info on our Spring Sale and upcoming wine tasting
The Menu
Cobblestone Cellars has a great tradition of providing us fantastic wines that earn every inch of the dollars you spend on them (think: Caligiore & Staccato, Del Bondio Cab Sauv, The Prisoner, Ch Bianca, Avery Quinn, etc.)
2006 Le Rote Vernaccia di San Gimignano, $10
A temperature controlled stainless steel white from Tuscany that’s priced at a song! This small production white comes complete with bright citrus and floral notes.
2005 Ramsay Cabernet Sauvignon, $15
Winemaker Kent Rasmussen purchased fruit from several Napa locations to blend this quite drinkable Cabernet Sauvignon, labeled under his wife’s name of Ramsay. This Cab features a bouquet of balanced fruit and oak, that’s easy on it’s own or with traditional Cab fare.
We have two special wines of interest on the floor while supplies last…
Patty Green 2006 Pinot Noir Reserve, $32.99 – an unearthed case from last fall’s release.
2005 Papillon, Orin Swift $60 – Dave Phinney, of The Prisoner acclaim, fashioned his take on the traditional Bordeaux style blend. Rare, our first case sold out in a few days.
